At Casa Velha do Palheiro, we are delighted to welcome your four-legged companions to enjoy our gardens, woodland paths, and tranquil surroundings. Our dog-friendly approach is rooted in respect—for nature, wildlife, and fellow guests.

To ensure a harmonious stay, dogs must be kept on a leash and under control at all times. We kindly ask that owners clean up after their pets and ensure noise and behaviour remain considerate of others. Dogs should not roam freely, disturb wildlife, or display aggressive behaviour.

Dogs are welcome in selected areas of the estate, including designated walking trails, the Tea House, and outdoor seating spaces. Certain areas, such as the golf course, clubhouse interior, and pool zones, remain pet-free.

All dogs should be in good health and up to date with vaccinations, with owners responsible for their pet’s wellbeing throughout their stay.
